That looks fun, what is it?

As Seth mentioned it is a Mash 650 X Ride.
A mate owns it gave it to me to test ride as he doesn't ride anymore, It's 2021 and only has 632 miles on it, hardly been ridden since road tyres went on.
No problems with it in the short time usage I've only rode it about 1 mile but like the feel of it.
It's a French company bikes are built in China based on the XT500 of coarse and the motor is a copy of the Honda Dominator.
I have read reports of some problems with them but I have also read reasonably good reviews.
Time will tell.
I do know I'll be happy with the tyres as I've had about 5 sets on my 1400's.

I could be in trouble I just realised the tyres are ST'S.

Tyres will be fine I used to use St's on my 14 for a few years without any problems the new tyres just last better for longer lol
My mate still uses St's on his xjr1300 and just had a new set last month

The can of worms that is tyre choice
I used to use Pirelli's because I got a decent discount knowing the importer. I also tried Metzlers, Dunlop and Bridgestones. Never used any of the supercheap chinesium brands.
However their lifespans were never very long for my style of riding.
I got a massive discount on a set of Pilots when the fours launched so gave them a try.
I've never gone back to Pirelli or any other.
I'd sooner pay full price and have GRIP wet/dry and Longevity.
Just my two cents worth 👍
Confidence in your tyre choice and use is as varied as opinion on them.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

There was a £30.00 difference between Road6's and GT2's and i went for the Pirelli's. So far they're impressing.

Chris, i was opposite to you, had Pilot 3, switched to Pirelli, vast improvement i thought.Funny how we all have different preferences 👍

Well one thing's for sure. The road 6's are a dam fine looking tyre. I think I'm with Chris, I'll be going Michi's from now on. After all, you gotta have something to throw your dough away at. It's one of my hobbies, throwing my dough away, I'm very good at it if I do say so.

Andre

Road 5 for me. It's the right tire for my riding. Love 'em.  GT 2 and Road 6 both 45€ more.

Think theyre all very good these days. We dont get to test/try so once fitted, stuck with them. Some of the ones back in old days, not sure how we stayed on. Dunlop Elite&Michelin A49, my worst. At least old K81 were predictable, not the two i just mentioned.
