He's doing it for the attention, obviously attractive nurses there.

All they do is fill you up with glucose injections Hooli..... no mouth to mouth resuscitation involved.

Question:
As I lay here in hospital why do I only ever hear Harleys going past ??
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Thats funny Col, mozzies or Hardlys, not sure which has biggest population here. Im sure open pipe Harleys have amplifiers fitted. My tri oval has end baffle out, asked Wife how loud i am compared to screamin eagle neighbours, she reckons no comparison, even said it sounds nice. Those others just sound stupid. 👍👍

If you were around here it'd be because I'd ridden it to work...

My B/W has a Tri Oval with the baffle removed, sounds fine, the black has a 30cm (or 35) Delkevic straight through carbon can, that's definitely a bit louder, although it's fine whilst riding, ya get a nice howl at throttle roll on.

Quote from: Kiwifruit on Friday, 16 February  2024, 01:23 PMI'm trying to get gone. Been a bit arduous back in hospital. I could not fight my infection without the specialist care I'm receiving. My forty years as a type 1 diabetic leaves me vulnerable to infection. Doctor's turned up now so going to post this.
Thanks again for your best wishes.
All the best for a quick mend Kiwifruit.....My knee op was stopped half way thru, complications apparently?  Waiting for surgeon and new date to try again.
Have a mate been in |Hosp since last August, went in to Wgton for Gall bladder, they nicked the bowel and he got infected, has lost 20 kg and been lying there since but coming right slowly   !!!!!!  Fit guy and is now a mess ......

Kiwifruit

Well it's nearly six weeks since my surgery and it hasn't been easy. Spent six days in hospital, home for a week then another twelve days on IV antibiotics back in Tauranga Hospital getting an infection sorted in my leg where they took one of the arteries from. It looks like a shark bit me now, got the district nurse dressing it every two days. Just for fun I now have fluid on my lungs. Can barely walk a dozen steps. So I'm a Grumpy little puppy at present. Mate is coming up next week to start the bike for me.....so at least I'll be able to listen to it !!

Hope your knee op went a bit smoother and you're on the mend Roo  :onya:

That's good news Col.
Take care with fluids on the lungs. My 89yo Dad has COPD & is very susceptible to pneumonia.
