Long time ownership

I had a bit of an epiphany today.
Pondering life and thinking to myself I've owned my GSX since October 2001. So just over 1/3 of my 63 revolutions of the Sun. Almost 1/2 of my road riding years. I've had some awesome adventures in that time and those memories are still fresh in my mind so no dementia luckily 🤞.
I've owned quite a few other bikes in that time as well. None of them have I regretted moving on.
I live in hope I'll still be riding into my 80's. I'm inspired by the Ulysses members I've met through the years, most of whom have enjoyed riding as much as me.

I've owned mine less time than yours, but for more of my riding career.

Passed my test Jan '07, got my 14 in Oct '07. I can't see it ever going anywhere so I'll have it till I can't ride it anymore. Still works out around a 1/3rd of my life though so we've got that in common.

I have same hopes as you. Bought one early 2002. Sold it and regretted it ever since. Starting my 8th year with the 2nd soon. She is a keeper

Mines a keeper. 12 yrs of good. 2nd longest ive owned, had Darmah for 15, totally diff bikes but equally as good in my mind.

Definitely a keeper  had my K3 for about 8 years now, will not be selling any time soon. Would love to add a TLR1000 and a 'Busa to the big bore suzuki collection

Yep, he did.  There's a pic (on here somewhere) of a heap of guys off the old org, Barmy is in it & so is Stan.  (I recall Dave said it was a long time ago because he still had hair in that pic  )
