aluminium vs brass/copper exhaust gaskets

Hi guys,

Pros and cons about aluminium vs brass/copper exhaust gaskets?

It's not down to price, as far as I can see. Looks like copper ones are/will be slightly thinner when in place and tightened, but anything else?

Copper.Seal better, dont disintegrate as aluminium can. Fibre also available, not as good either. Copper also easier to remove next replacement.

Copper is reusable if you reanneal them? depends how much they're crushed I guess.
