I'm a bit of a tool collector / hoarder.   Some folk drink, some smoke, gamble, have kids etc etc. I collect stuff.  Tools are my downfall.  I have 2 double height roll cab tool box's and a triple height one, with multiple smaller tool box's, along with work bench tools, Ute tool box's, a 6 foot cabinet for power tools etc etc.

Im the perfect example of "all the gear - no idea"  :happy1:

I had SNAP-ON franchise for 7 years so my collection of tools both metric & imperial rest in a racebox I've used most over the years however most of it still looks brand new 20+ years later.
I think home servicing is underrated by most people. Reckon I've saved literally thousands of dollars over the years.
Tony is correct what happens in the shed stays in the shed lol 😂

Ive got tools from 1973, my first work year, multiple others along the way. Must be 8 boxes plus other crap hanging on the wall etc. Some rusted, others like brand new. Still amazes me how sometimes one of them is needed. My old Fluke multimeter, 1980, favourite ive kept. Not sure, dont even think ive replaced its battery. Maybe but not sure.

I bought a lot of snap-on tools way back in the 80's when i started my apprenticeship as a mechanic, still got them and still get a lot of use, great tools  :onya:

I found these tools in my dad's workshop 5 years ago, I made them and more (gone missing) as a 1st year apprentice in 1977. I've cleaned them up and using them when needed.

And hanging in my shed presently, the last pair of overalls I worn on leaving my employer back in 1983.
