thanks for the welcome guys     I thought their might be the colour abuse    i had a lot of stick for having a BROWN 1200 bandit   
my name it Tony by the way and I live on the west coast of Cumbria. yeah the bike is clean for an 18 year old and only 30,500 miles on it. I tend to go through a lot of bikes but I want to keep the 1400, im 60 next month so this bike will be a keeper.
ive just sold my lovely 1980 GSX1100 ET with a few upgrades to buy the 1400, a sad moment    but needs must.
the bike under the cover by the way is a 1979 XS1100.

its a 1979 XS1100    bit of a wreck when i got it but looks good now. had 3 in the past and just fancied another project to keep me busy    great engine with plenty of grunt but not in the same league as the 1400.
