Nah we all know that 80 on a GSX speedo is about 73 in the real world so within the 10%+2 guidelines most police farces still use.

Excellent news on lack of pc here.
Had a bit more of a run and all is very good.
Difficult to compare to the xjr as it was 12 years ago, however gsx feels wider at the tank, xjr gearshift felt like I had a bit more room and was slicker, although this could be due to the new stiff boots.
Cracked the throttle wide open at 80 and it just felt like a missile taking off, backed off somewhere at early 3 figures as wind pressure was getting interesting.
Think I may need to look at suspension settings as it just feels a little harsh at times.
Found a little split on the seat so a good excuse for a custom jobbie.
Quite like the look of 360 mm black widows but to be honest what it has sound really good 👍

Ticking all the boxes Phill. Lovely bike, top end run is always needed, they do wander a bit at top. New seat, choose carefully. Mine was maybe best thing ive done.  :hat:

Seat wise looking at this chap, sells them also on ebay http://www.diggerseats.co.uk/Home.html

At speed I could barely see the clocks as everything was buzzing  :cheesy:

Grizzley Adams is damn good at seats too. You'll find him on FB in any of the 14 groups.

Grizz did my Hornet seat earlier this year. It was cut down when I got it & like an ironing board, feels like a sofa now.

So a little update on the Motea handlebar fairing, I liked the look the the airflow hit me in the throat, so I fitted a screen Extender which worked well but was a little fully so for the last couple of months the fairings been down at Skidmarx getting a custom screen made, I also fitted an undertray today, angle grinder cuts plastic easily 😀
