Hope your all ticketyboo and ready for the festive folks, I was lucky enough to find a k4 a month ago in fabulous condition at a great price so it's now in my garage all warm and toasty. I had a k5 up to 2012 but had a health blip and sold her, spent the last ten years bikeless but planning to make up for that next year with my brother who also has a k4! I dug out all my biking gear but found out it shrinks if you don't use it? The boots and the helmet still fit though, I'm planning to polish and simply listen to the engine until better weather and maybe work on my core stamina before any real journeys because I'm nowhere near fit enough to guarantee a happy ride. Can't wait.
Stay safe and have the best Xmas/hogmonay you've ever had.

Welcome back to the world of 1402.

It sounds like you know exactly what you have bought and I don't doubt you're looking forward to using it.

Enjoy the bike and stay safe.

Pete.

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Agree B00N,  shrinkage is a problem with leather  hahaha      I got out yesterday and found my leathers were fitting better !    I have just moved house and all the stress (don't ask )  gave me a 5 kg weight loss !  BONUS !!!!!!!
Welcome Boon   xxxxxxxx

Hey, thanks again for the welcomes. In reply to Vlad I haven't got the hang of this forum yet so I reckon I'll simply try and not retain anything I do learn (honestly that's not going to be hard)
Seth, in all My years of biking I've never made it to Perth? I decided to Google map places I want to visit and save the results in a folder so I'm googling Perth and filing it under to-do.
Gsxking and mjgt, both our bikes are in the same store so I'll get them both done at the same time, his is the black and red and I've got the blue and white, if I'm honest I didn't know much about the 1400 when I first bought one, I'm too big to ride a pocket rocket and the bro is even bigger so imagine an elephant on a push bike! I bought it for looks and then found out it was fabulous.
