@Globalrider  thanks for the offer but my new one arrived today even comes with a bespoke license plate holder. @Will14 the mounting points for the plate  on the new one have been revised but I will still make up a bracket for the inside . The only other thing I have to do is remove the little screw  clips off the old one and put them on the new one.

@Tally That looks like a much better design, good to see that they are still improving their products for a bike that has been out of production for almost 15 years

I have a question. I am replacing my undertray today and I need the little clips that the screws , screw into . My question is are they easy to remove and reusable. I don't want to have a go at them and ruin em, knowing that I'm quite ham fisted on fiddly things.

All done now , no real dramas . The screw clips came off easily and it's all back together now.
