Hi,
thank you for letting me into your forum. Before I buy, I hope to learn more about the bike, its use, and its maintenance.

Froudy from the Suzuki Bandit Forum said this is the best and only forum to join for the GSX1400.

No bike in mind yet , but looking, and hope one day to own one of these beautiful motorcycles.

Riding a 1999 Suzuki GSF1200 naked (fourth owner) at the moment, and a 2011 Triumph T100. I am no youngster. Retired in 2015.
My country is England. What's left of it.

G'day Steve and welcome to this nuthouse that is everything GSX1400. There are lots of blokes on here with answers to any questions you pose. 👍👍

My opinion is that these are probably the best all rounder bikes made to date. They do everything you're likely to do on a motorcycle well. 🧐🧐

Welcome along Steve 1806 (i assume that is your birth year then?) Plenty of grizzled wisdom here. Can't go wrong with a 1402
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Hi and welcome.

I have a 99 naked B12 too (and I'm retired  ;) ).  The 14 has more comfy, stable feel. Heaps of grunt too. Classic "Old Skool" looks.

The 12 is great for spares and mods, GSXR bits, Dot heads, alternative carbs, clutches, etc, but they are a bit different in design in that the 14 is more of a stand alone bike, where the 12 is part of a bigger family.

Both good bikes, just a bit different. I've had a few newer bikes but still love the 14's big tank, comfy seat, upright position and grunt.
