If as an experiment you had 100 GSX1400 owners together at a racetrack and asked them to all set the settings to standard 80 of them wouldn't notice a big difference IMHO.  :stir: :stir: :stir:

😅😅 I haven't started on the settings yet (weather) but I'm guessing you're right, so long as I have less dive under braking and stable through corners I will be happy. 😁
If you are going to run out of fuel, do it in your garage.

It's only a short walk to the kettle.

Never has a wind up been so true! 😅😅

I have spent the day on the bike, adjusting each setting at a time to get a "feel" for what each does to the handling, up and down the same 30km piece of road.

Firstly, the  progressive springs are brilliant. No horrendous diving under heavy braking, (the primary reason for their purchase) especially as I have rebuilt the calipers and fitted braided hoses increasing the braking by at least 50%.

Well, I barely noticed any difference on most settings 😅. Turning adjusters two or three clicks at a time, barely any change.

I eventually found a comfortable setting and the bike feels great, a joy to ride, all set for the forthcoming season. 😁

I will need to check a couple of them (too knackered by the end of the day to record them) and I will post them up tomorrow.

Mate, a top effort, brilliant days work. I agree, getting rid of brake dive, i hated it. Even sometimes on gear changes. When you get it perfect, youll feel like youre just in the centre, front and rear doing their job. Not just sitting on a plank. It will happen.
