Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Sounds like a winner Dave. Probably a version 7 by time i wear my Angels out.

Hooli

I wonder if these ones randomly explosively delaminate like the 4s? I'll let someone else find out.

grog

I remember that Hooli. My last were Pilot 2&3, old stuff. Never had a prob with Angels, been good for around 7 yrs now.Few sets. Having said that, had Pirelli car tyre fly to pieces after 30 ks.

Kiwifruit

Sounds like the marketing lady used all her big words in one blurb.
Nothing too appealing for the Greens though. No mention of 3 different compounds of hemp delicately wrapped in rice paper.
Joking aside I'm sure they will be a great tyre.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

steve porter

Over 15,000 on my road 5's so far, front is close to the wear bars than the rear, reckon 17+ at the rate they are wearing

Nic

I had a 1250 Bandit around 4 years ago, had Angels on, the rear lasted 5,000Ks.
I have angels on my 1400 as well, right now 6,500Ks and the rear looks to still have about half left, so they must be getting better in the wear dept? Or I'm riding even more "cootlike"
Will stick with them I reckon.

GSXKING

Quite a good right up, but lets see how they perform in the real world. The price is pretty hefty too.  :whistling:
GSXKING 3:^)
Chris
Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Irish in Oz

Pirelli are on their third model of Angel with the GT2, wonder if Michelin have got it right after 6.

Nic

I'm using the GTs, not the GTIIs, I figure the two channels running around the middle of the tyre on the GTII equates to less rubber where you need it for max longevity so I'll stay with the GTs, might be pedantic but I've been called worse

I have used both gt's and gt2's .
You are right in the fact the gt2's wear a bit quicker than gt's .
BUT the gt's feel much better for much longer than the gt's .
You'll know how the gt's start to feel wierd at the end of thier lives and white line a bit too.
the gt2's Don't square off as much or as quickly and give a good feel right up untill the wear limit markers are showing .
Each to thier own
I got up to 9000miles out of a pair of gt's
I got up to 7000miles out of a pair of gt2's .
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Big Geordi

Still use original Pilot Powers as they are still available and dont get anywhere near the mileages of that Seth bloke by a long chalk  ;)

my last original Angels. Front 17 th ks, 10th miles. Rear 21th ks, 13 th miles. Pirelli 3 before both lasted 13 th ks . Angels never squared off or felt different. New set slightly better but not much. Religious on pressure, 36 &38, not slow rider, amazing mileage even i cant believe. I reckon its due to having suspension modified, more compliant. Sure better on body.

I know you've got the wilbers progressive springs on the front, what have you done at the back?
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.
