If it's not a deep fat fryer it shouldn't be doing chips.

I won't disagree with that Hooli, do my own chips triple cooked, boiled then 130 degrees then 180 degrees.

Eric, I'm trying to stop the Pommes from cooking everything in a deep fat fryer.

Law of natural selection
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Had one for a few years and amazing - mrs Notty doesn't cook, hasn't in. 47 years of marriage so anything that makes my kitchen life easier is great  :)
Notty - I note that you say your wife doesn`t cook, thats not to say she can`t cook. Ever thought about buying her a cooker.....? :whistling:

I was bed ridden for 4 weeks after an op - expecting frozen peas to go along with my first meal, she couldn't switch the hob on so no peas ......safer for me to cook  :) she made rice pudding without rice once .....

Wouldn't be without an airfryer now it's another essential part of the kitchen now IMHO. No mess and you can fine tune how crispy you want things with a bit of practice. We get truffle arancini from Woolworths and they are better than any restaurant meal I've had.  :worshippy:

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Seems odd to hear of Woolworths as they went bust over here years ago.

GSXKING

We have two megamonopolies in  Australia, Woolworths owned by South African Co. and Coles not sure it's wholly Australian owned. They own food, alcohol (pubs & bottle shops), Petrol, Smokes and any number of other consumables. I heard 30 cents in every dollar spent in Australia is touched by these oligarch like empires. They definitely have influence in the political sphere. No Covid shutdowns for any of their business' and they have made record profits during the Covid period so far. They are looking to employ 3000 people in the next 6 months.

On 2 July 2007, Western Australian based company Wesfarmers agreed to purchase Coles Group Limited for A$22 billion. The purchase was completed in early 2008.
