Glad we could help Mark, although at £125 for one pipe - ye gods!!!!!!

You may have to drop your complete headers and collector to get the one pipe on. When you refit them, use some Nickleslip on the bolts to save them seizing in the head - if you don't have any, then a dab of Copaslip will work though (Nickleslip is better for higher temperatures, whereas Copaslip can dry out).

And why not shine up the other headers to match the new one - some Mothers Mag and Aluminium polish applied using a make-up remover pad (pinch some from your mrs!) then buffed off before it completely dries with a micro fibre cloth keeps it all looking tickety boo.

This was my K7 at 11,000 miles and 9 years old - headers still looked like new  :onya:

Cheers bud, appreciated.

Ask the shop to put some nickel or copa slip on the bolts though, worthwhile whilst its all pulled down <preventative maintenance>  :onya:

Thanks Richard - and indeed was a sad day selling it. Unfortunately it had to go as the sitting position was doing my back no favours at all. Having said that I really enjoyed the years I owned it, like all 14's it had character.
