Not doing but just wondering. If a 14 was sent to UK, does it have to have any mods to comply.

Yes, we have HPH speedo's not the French muck you use over there.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I think the reason they ar eholding up in price is that there is not much like a GSX1400 that you can buy brand new anymore.

If you want a big low revvig lump with loads of torque you are going to have to go into the used bike market and pick a good one.

As far as "classic" goes, time will judge - but to me the bikes that get a head start are those that were introduced as a flagship model to a manufacturer's range such as the Z1300, CBX, Hyabusa, R1 etc. Those tended to be coverted when they came out but out of the budget at the time. When you get all nostalgic, middle aged and mortgage free you start looking again  :)

2/3 - Nostalgic = tick. Middle aged - assuming I live to be 100, sure.
Mortgage is fucking huge though on a modest house. :( Round 2 following a divorce will do that.

I def want a busa, for no good reason at all. And several bad ones ;)

I'd like a KZ1000R (Eddie Lawson replica)

but realistically from a cost and regular use perspective I'd get a K8/K9  ZRX1200R

mostly so I could paint it in vibrant modern Kawasaki colours (but in the same scheme). Only downside is carbs.

Oh wait I just saw this - its beautiful and I want one.

What on earth are Kawasaki doing with that stripe on the fairing.....

VladTepes

Do you mean the front? yeah that stripe would have to go :)
Pretty sure that's an optional extra (the nose fairing) as most pictures of the bike don't show it,

Is to line the handle on the front paddock stand so you know it's in the right place?

A mate had a 1200 & she loved it. Easier to throw about than a 14 I'm told. I never saw it or rode one to comment.

grog

Hate those green lime ones. Jaffa not bad. Saw one at pub, missing twin shocks no good. Someone on here has one, no idea if theyre good bike. Surely must handle better than originals, they were death trap. Tank slappers, ive been there.

VladTepes

It's a Kawasaki Grog it has to be green.  It's a rule !  :D

Just like GSX1400's have to be black !  :P

My ZRX1200R. It's cracker. A little manic compared to the 14. Not better, just different.

Kawas werent always green early days. BJ, one of your lesser bikes, your collection is superb. Yoshi going well, much more mid range grunt. 👍👍

BJ
