Cutting out intermitently

Hello
So I bought another GSX1400 K5 with only 7800 miles on the clock. Too good to be true I hear you say. Well yes and no.
The suspension and engine is great all working apart from an annoying cut out problem.
I tried a new ignition barrel, side stand switch, gear position sensor, clutch switch and I took apart the fuel pump and put in a new tea bag filter but it still cuts out sometimes at low revs, sometimes at high revs sometimes going around a roundabout (which is like falling off the edge of your tyre).
I found out that the K5 had a recall for the immobiliser antenna which I ahve now had done.
I have tried every connection and checked all the wiring loom.
After reading some other topics on the forum I decided to to check the indicator relay which also does the fuel pump. When I read the words Made In Taiwan on the side I believe I may have found the problem. The previous owner had installed led indicators and not only put in in line resistors but also put in a cheap LED relay switch. Luckily I had an old Suzuki loom and on it was an OE Relay. Since then no delayed priming of the fuel pump when I turn on the key and the bike hasn't cut out.
I have aslo added a second earth point as sugested by someone on the site.
Hope this helps xxx

Hooli

That's why when I fitted a cheap LED relay, the original went in a watertight bag under the seat. Just in case...

Nice find though.
