Friend of mine has the Innovv Beaker, nice camera and of course the "electrics" part fits under you seat - however - do look at the SJ4000 its as good as a GoPro at a fraction of the price. In the UK you can get a complete SJ4000 setup including spare batteries and a charger for under £30. Can't beat it at that value!

Yeah, very similar to the GoPro which I have - I am keen on not having to worry about turning anything on or fitting/removing it and having both forward/rearward recording. Also, the GPS feature would be handy.

Been looking at them, how long do the batteries last?

That's the downside, depends how you use, but continuously left on, you can generally get about 60-90 mins per battery, about the same as a GoPro. But I drilled a hole in the side casing and run it off a USB port wired to the battery and it lasts as long as you like

I use GoPro with battery eliminaters on them so never need to worry about battery life.. Thing is, if you find the right cheaper version that uses gopro batteries, you can use the same elimantor.

Do you have a link to these battery eliminator? Never heard of them but sound useful!

The only problem I can foresee with using a battery eliminator with the cheaper SJ4000 is that you'd need to drill/cut a hole for the cable to pass through in the waterproof enclosure. As they are, they're 100% waterproof to a depth of about 30 meters(Proved by a mate of mine diving with one) The water would then be able to get in to a certain extent, depending on where the hole was made.

BEWARE also..If you order an SJ4000 and it arrives in a brown box and NOT in a box like the video below, then it's an even cheaper Chinese rip off of an SJ4000..AND they are crap. I got one of these as well just because I needed a new waterproof case for my original Full HD SJ4000. The case was fine, but the camera was not full HD and it was running some dodgy software too. Film quality was dire!!!

If your motorbike is 30 metres underwater - you have bigger problems..
For motorcycle use, some silicone to seal the hole where the cable goes through will make it sufficiently 'waterproof' for all weather riding.

Why not a rubber grommet to fit the hole? Silicone will work, but look messy, now a grommet will look the dogs!

As you and KiwiCol said..Silicone or a grommet would do the trick.
I wouldn't personally do this conversion as my camera is usually mounted on my lid. If it was bike mounted it would be worth it as I could then just plug it into my USB accessory socket to keep it running.
