Bought in blue color last November 2020 and paid 2900 eur.

That's about $4500 AUD.

Always interesting to compare sales in the different countries. Easy to find out what people are asking but what they are paying counts. A very good 😊 buy.

About a week of your wages in Oz  @Johno

Maybe, but still a good price to pick one up. I paid 5K for mine 4 years ago
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

That's the same thing that gsxbarmy uses & showed us a while back.  Pretty sure he even said how to mount it.

Spot on @KiwiCol it simply connects across the battery. Strangely gammatronix don't do a mount for it, I made one out of Kydex appropriate to how I've fitted it on my previous GSX1400 and Tiger1200 and currently on my BMW (if you've never heard of it, look it up. - its sold on eBay - You buy it as a flat sheet and heat it up and when warm it can be modelled to whatever shape you wish. Cuts dead easy when its cold. A 1mm sheet is generally good for making the bracket.

Im not understanding why this better than digital voltmeter which i have. Gives me all i need for not much money. What you pay for 14 is also interesting. I bought mine online, had never seen it, bloke promised perfect, he was right. Delivered to my door. He agreed on phone, if i wasnt happy, hed just pick it up and return. I was amazed with condition and service. That was 10 years ago. Best money ive ever spent.

Depends what you want @grog there are arguments for both gammatronix and a digital voltmeter, I wouldn't say one is any better than the other. I suppose the main difference is that with the ignition off, the gammatronix unit will flash either red / yellow or green to show battery condition (handy also as a pseudo alarm flashing light) and will show red / yellow or green with the engine running to show charging state - no difference from showing actual charge rate on the digital unit.

I suppose the other difference is if you have the digital unit, you need to be able to understand what it is telling you (many don't), the gammatronix unit is more for dummies, green is good, yellow is uh-oh, red is oh damn  :happy1:

Dave, agree the flashing light deterrent a good idea. 👍Local electronic shop sells similar for a few bucks, it just flashes when bike sitting. Will invest in one. Hows the injuries coming along? Hope that paw paw ointment helped.

Doing well thanks @grog indeed paw paw did help, hadn't heard of it before but good stuff! Leg is pretty well good now, think there will be a small scar but all the dressings are off and its now just got to finally heal - but no longer a bother. Got the bike back last Friday from being repaired, just finished giving it the once over and they did a good job! Just need the stormy weather here in the UK right now to subside and I can get out and put a few miles under my belt.

Still nervous about cars/bikes etc tailgating me / getting close when riding the bike or driving the car, but I daresay that will go in time.

Thanks for asking, appreciated  :onya:

Glad all is well 'Barmy.  That pawpaw stuff is great, when I had a boat we'd use it against wind burn on faces and necks if out all day fishing, then sunscreen on top for uv protection.  Works a treat.
