Literally just run in.  Wow, looks fantastic for a 20yo bike, congrats on a great find.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Hi Mate, Welcome to the forum. Love the bike, not many around in that colour, looks really cool. Great to see another 1400 with standard exhausts as well.😍

That's why I bought this one. Good, almost unique for the model color and almost everything is standard with a few modifications that I would do it anyway. So I was little disappointed when I found out that the handlebar is not the original one but still loves it.

Just changed the sparks. Seems like hasn't been changed from ages.
One of them was even cracked.

Interestingly, the spark plugs on the outer cylinders have a better color and have worn out more than those on the inner.
The new ones are Denso U24ETR

Hooli

Balanced the throttles lately? If the outer ones aren't getting quite as much air they'll run a touch richer and look darker.

I haven't done it. I have no idea who can do it close to me.

It's easy, just get some vacuum gauges & away you go. I got a cheap set off ebay & they are fine.

There's a decent set of instructions in the technical section here as far as I recall.

Also removed the PAIR system and adjusted the fast Idle.

I found my bike on a YouTube.

This is 10 and a half years before I bought it :) .
I have an invoice that shows the new standard cans have been putted and I have always wondered what was previously and why they were changed. Now I saw :)
