How do you remove pics from your gallery?
I have uploaded pics to my gallery and they are going in on their side.
I have tried rotated 90, 120 etc when uploading, but they are going in every way but what I want.
CAUTION - My forum posts may be worth what you paid for them!

If you go in and edit them, you can remove them. Or if you prefer, I can remove the sideways and upside down ones for you, so you can re-add them

I just had a look to see if there was a way to rotate them in place - but not as far as I can see. We need to ask Vladtepes

@VladTepes - any ideas???

Thanks for the reply barmy.
I went in to edit and clicked on delete and got this message, You do not have permission to delete that picture.
Could you remove them for me.
There is a sticky here about rotating after you have posted, but I wanted them correct to start with.

So I've removed the ones that were all at odds @SFC1000

I note the link to adjusting photos you posted, however that I believe relates only to photos posted in threads, not in the gallery - although I did check first before deleting.

If they don't add up properly when you try again, then we'll have to have a word with @VladTepes as to how they can be adjusted once added.

Cheers Barmy

okey dokey.

The orientation of images uploaded to the gallery is controlled by the EXIF data of the image.

Depending which orientation the camera or phone was in when the photo was taken, the image will not always match the orientation of the subject of the photo.

Correct.

I'll have a chat to the people who created the gallery software (we use a paid plugin) and see if there's a way to easily facilitate rotation when the image is already uploaded.

If only everyone could agree on EXIF data.

The forum I own has a habit of turning pics even when they are the right way up, totally different software to this place too.
