Not always Irish, I rode in 4 this year, around 6.30. 48 was in 2014, not 16, i just checked.

I live on the Central Coast between Sydney and Newcastle so we get an ocean breeze but that heatwave in 2014 I was in Leeton NSW was similar temp couldn't sleep for about three nights.

Irish, that 48 day was a Saturday. Wife at work in A/C, me home. I had 12 swims and drank 24 stubbies. All i could do. Not sure of my mpg that day, not a lot.

We are tougher over here.

Yeah that's what people who live in shitty climates always say :P

Nah shitty climates are the ones that regularly go above 25c, that's just pure hell.

Sounds like your going all soft. I still remember the times on the trawler fishing the Irish Sea off Dublin in the summer.

I can change that if I choose but after 30+years I need to build my strength up again.

Grog as a young man in my mid twenties the heat never bothered me at all, but as I got towards the fifty mark I started noticing it, late fifties I stopped working because of it, April to September in Oz will suit me now.

Coming right here  (NZ)...   tho still getting lots O drizzle.

Got a window of fine today so will get out on the ride on mower (with my music in headphones). Save the ride for after the next rain ,maybe Wed.????

Johno

Not quite summer here yet but 41/42 today in western Sydney and the same forecast again tomorrow.

I agree with Irish April to September are the best riding months. Early morning rides are best in the warmer months here.
