That is such bad news.

My favourite song.

Good song for sure, intro excellent. The best?Good topic, favourite song. Would get a few different choices.

Yeah, if you think about it he didn't really have any bad tunes or riffs but that's the first riff that comes to mind. I used to play bass in a metal band in the 80s and he (and Michael Anthony) were a huge influence. To me this is metal. All this new growling screeching thrashy stuff turns me off.

I'm pretty devo right now. I know it's silly but...

Vale Eddie, may your music never be forgotten
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

 :cry2:
First liked van Halen when I was at school.
First saw them live at donnington monsters of rock in 1984 we rode from just north of Nottingham took about an hour on my RD50MX.
The walked in for free just as ozxy was finishing his set .
Then watched all off V.H. followed by ac/dc .
Me and my friends I was with said van Halen were better live than ac/dc.
A sad sad loss that's hit me more than anyother rock person passing away .
:cry2:

I saw them a couple of times in 90s. Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena as I recall. Obviously they had Sammy Hagar then, but would have liked to have seen the original lineup with DLR.
