Not possible, cant be true. Yeah, i know all these answers. My front Pirelli Angel was knackered at 19th ks. My rear just clocked up 27 th ks. I ride normal to just above. I cant believe this tyre, maybe not much left but still legal. Still handles great. My mate with MT10 Yam has same, i talked him into them. His Bridgestones lasted 5 th. ks, both rooted. Now has 15 th on Angels, look good. Amazing tyres.

Angel ST GT or Angel 2?

Original Angel GT didn't last anything like that for me

I got fantastic mileage out of my fist set of gt's 9000mile on the rear and 12000 on the front .
But I'm finding with the gt2's they aren't going to last as long maybe 7/8000 on the front and I'll change the back at the same time .the main thing is the gt2's are still round at 6000miles with out the normal squaring off at the back and stepping on the fronts .
I'm loving the gt2's and will replace them with another set of gt2's

Bloody amazing how far they have come , when I got my 851 back in 89 the only Tyres  available for it were Pirelli something or other and I would wear out a rear in 2-3 k on the road or 1 track day and I seem to remember they were $ 500 ish per pair back then

I'll stick to my Avons, they last longer, ride better & are much cheaper than Angels.

Tyres i was telling about Angel GT originals. Interested in the Avons, which ones Hooli? Only complaint with Angels, reckon bike could feel more planted on road. Much better than Michy PR3 it had yrs back, they were terrible. Do Avons have that stuck to road feel. Pirelli Phantoms, thats a while back. Back then had Ducati and used A48&M48 Michys. Worked well. They updated to 49 models. Couldnt keep a constant radius cornering, really bad. Switched to Phantoms, prob solved. Had GS 1000 with Dunlop Elite, they were worse than bad. Phantoms saved the day again.

I used dunlop elite tyres in the 80's on my gsx1100, I got them for half price as long as I didn't want a receipt or ask any daft questions, didn't last very long but for the price they worked out real good value.  As for Avon's try the Storm 3D XM, just fitted them to my 1400 and am very happy so far.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Storm 3D XMs are what's on mine, just over 6k on them now & still about a third left on the rear. Angels etc would be gone by now.

I was going to mention those Dunlop Elites mjgt. Had them on my XJ750 ..... they just melted  !!
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Just interested in Avon, had Pirelli or Michy forever. Just for a change, try something different. Spirit get good reviews.
