Then I set about modifying the original seat and re-sculpted it to suit me and my wife and then had it custom upholstered by the local upholstery place - where the owner also owns and rides bikes. So he was able to do what I wanted.

Raised 50mm at the front and 30mm at the rear refoamed with the firmest available and recovered with grippy vinyl, couldn`t be happier with the outcome

Here's the picture of my seat with the cover off the back .
It's got extra foam on the front ( riders seat ) as the foam was well worn after 50000 miles

Does anyone have exprience of Le Sellerie (french) seats or Just Bandits seats for GSX or for some other bike?
