One problem. What are Kev and Keith's weight?  ???

Way back they were worth trying, i did. I found them too harsh. I got both ends modified, still with oem except fork springs. Much better damping which let me use less spring pre load. Still how i ride it now. Floats over bumps, no wallowing as damping works. Just my opinion, spring load limits travel, hides the problem. Good damping, with perfect springload lets the suspension travel its whole length but controls. Works for me. No expert but just my way.

Lotus, who tend to know how to make cars handle use soft springs & stiff dampers to control things. Sounds much the same to me.
