We have several Fiat 124 Spider Abarth's at work.

Although sold as a Fiat they are built by Mazda in Hiroshima and its basically an MX5 with a few tweaks and changes.

Had a few drives in the new / latest model / alloy engined / 5 cylinder / Audi TT-RS. Very different to the previous model.

Great little car. Rides a bit firm but its like a rocket propelled Go-Cart!
I read you'd need to spend a quarter of a million $ to get a Porsche to match it.

Not sure I could live with one, or ever afford one!
.... but it was fun to try it and it has a wonderful addictive "growl" on the throttle.

Its like a baby R8.
I was quite impressed.

Fella turned up at home today in a 2014 Maserati Tourismo. Quite rare he said, it has a 4.2 litre Ferrari engine in it.
Nice car.......sounded pretty good as he gave it a bootfull when he left.

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Ferrari mentioned, my legs shake. just love them. you should hear my corolla take off, takes a while, 2/3 of the power of my bike.  :rofl3:

Due a new car soon.
My old Lancer is getting pretty tired, and after 4 Territory's its time for a change.
Going to try a few but a base model Hi-Lux Workmate and a 2WD Rav-4 (more for the wife than me) are options. Budget cars saves me bike money!

You could put a bike on the back of the hilux, not so the RAV-4.  Decision made then ?!

...and then the Winged Hussars arrived.

I havent tried the R. We have the GT at work.
The police had their eye on them (GT's) as highway patrol cars, the story going around is they were told "No!" as government cars aren't allowed to have such a poor safety rating.

I sort of understand why some folk might like them, now there's no home market V8's. why anyone buys the 4 cylinder 2.3ltr version is a mystery to me though.

the 4 cylinder and bad safety rating puzzles me. todays a direct import, prob. no aust. safety rating. bloody quick.

Those Mustangs are becoming popular here. They look pretty sharp.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

As my good lady hated the sh1t out of my golf (185bhp TDI) and my daughter blew her Polo up I decided to give her the Golf which left me motorless - I decided I was a terrific Dad and deserved a present

so I bought me this  - a 2004 E320 Avantgarde - full service history - been chipped to 280bhp - its like a 4 wheel GSX1400 - very comfy with loads of grunt
