Day Riding LED's on Indicators??

Hi guys, only just saw these on a ZZR14, the indicators are bright white when not in use and switch to normal indicators when the indicators are, um, indicating :(. Anyone know anything about these?, they look very cool.

was it a fairly new bike - most new cars have LED side lights that go out when the indicator is used - the side light goes out to allow you to better see the indicator flash - unfortunately this is part of the canbus system so I don't think it will be available as a retro fit

It's a 2010 bike so I wonder if it'll be any more advanced that the GSX in terms of canbus etc.
