Robbed from else ware, & I don't go in for this sort of stuff, but somehow this got to me.

Suddenly Disney is out of magic,
Paris is no longer romantic,
New York doesn't stand up anymore,
the Chinese wall is no longer a fortress, and Mecca is empty.

Hugs & kisses suddenly become weapons, and not visiting parents & friends becomes an act of love.

Suddenly you realise that power, beauty & money are worthless, and can't get you the oxygen you're fighting for.

The world continues its life and it is beautiful. It only puts humans in cages. I think it's sending us a message:

"You are not necessary. The air, earth, water and sky without you are fine. When you come back, remember that you are my guests. Not my masters."

BTW, we are both nearly 74 & a 'bit concerned' to say the least.

Excellent Lawrie. Strangely enough, last week i was looking at waves rolling in at beach. I thought then, my life has really changed, not so the waves.

Just 3D printed a trial face-mask, might need it soon!

Nice, but it is a face-shield - not a mask. Will help if someone spits/coughs directly at you but without an additional appropriate mask (N95, FFP2 or higher) you are likely to catch the virus anyway.

Even if you have ALL the proper personal protection gear you also have to know how to handle it properly. Even a mask can be a viral spreader (to you and others)!

Best measure is total self-isolation!

Hi all. Portugal has been struck as any other country in europe. We have been advised to stay at home. Some services still work food supply and pharmacy, restaurants only serve take-way. We can walk ourselves and our pets. We cannot leave the county unless you have some one to assist. Easter holydays will be even tighter.

The thing that bothers me the most is that when hell broke loose in china, the rest of the world just stood still and watched. Health experts assured us that there was no cause for alarm and that this virus had nothing with SARS and crap like that! Now those exact same people are telling us what we should or not do. I do not trust what is shown on the TV.

My brother lives in brussels and has been infected. Thankfully he did not need breading support and is recovering fast.

People are still getting infected everywhere. Make sure you ain't giving or catching.

The human race is very resilient. This won't kill us all, but it will leave a mark.
