Irish, classify as old? Not sure. Was just talking my dayly users. My Dad was a a car/bike resto person, did so many. Yeah, i know old. His oldest resto was 1903 Minnerva, thats old. Like a horse buggy without the horse. If i could link photo on phone i would. Will do on PC tomorrow.

Still got the 1983 Z1300 that I bought from new, incredible to think I'll have had it 37 years in October.

There's still the 2003 GSX1400, 2009 Z1000 and 2016 GTR1400 in the garage all aging gracefully together.

I think I know that car park, damned if I can think of the name of the cafe though.

The big fuel tank is handy on the Z1300.

That's the Food Stop at Quatt near Bridgnorth in Shropshire, only about 20 minutes or so from home so a regular stop off when I'm just in need of an hour's loop on a bike.

As long as you look after it... it has lain dormant over a few winters and the result can be that any water from condensation sinks below the lighter petrol. This happened over time reulting in a lot of pinholes around the bottom seam and needing a few quid spent on the tank being soldered up and resprayed. I try to at least stir it up a bit during the winter these day,s but would now drain in down  if it is going to be laid up for a while.

The '13 is a thirsty girl though and from memory I don't think the range is any better than the GSX.

Irish, searched Mums photos for Minnerva, cant find. Shes now in 90 yr old panic, shell be ok. She wont stop till she finds. Photo is pretty much same as he built. They were sold in UK by Charles Rolls, guess what later built. They also built Landrovers until 1953.

My oldest bike is a 1977 Kawasaki KZ400. A four stroke twin. A popular commuter model from the seventies. Suzuki had the GS400 and Yamaha the XS400.

I had the first model (1978) GS1000 - red and white with mag wheels but traded up the the shaft Drive GS1000G in 1981.

Stilll have it now on historic registration.

My daily driver car is a 2013 Subaru Outback which I've driven to Uluru through outback NSW, South Australia and the Northern Territory. Next outback trip is central Queensland and dinosaur territory.

A great wagon with AWD. Unfortunately the brakes don't compare with Euro wagons I have driven.

Of course my K5 1402 is my Best Buy. More bang for my buck than anything else I have ridden or driven.

If only the brakes had the power and feel of the late model Audi A3 I drove recently.

My 15 year old GSX1400 has just about everything I need in a bike.

@Johno

The old GS1000 some good rides on the classics.

I had an XJ750 a few moons ago.   Mrs loved being on the back of that.

That's probably my favourite classic I've done a lot of miles on it and original unrestored except the mufflers, never lets me down.
