Hi Guys. Your thoughts please.
Am trying to buy a new jacket. Had my mind set on a RST Paragon 5 but could not find one. Start looking around and have now confused myself.
Has anyone had any experience with:
RST Adventure 3
Macna Night Eye
Richa lnfinity 2 Flare
Am keen on something well vented and quite visible at night along with good armour.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

RST Adventure 3 - meets your criteria above in being "well vented and quite visible at night along with good armour".
It is also very heavy and isn't waterproof (in my experience with the "waterproof" liner fitted, but it did rain very heavily).
Quite a warm jacket too with the thermal liner/waterproof liner fitted.
:hat:
I plan on living forever - so far, so good!

Yep agree with @black14 - I have the RST Adventure 2 and it is a fantastic jacket - plenty of storage, well ventilated and warm when required. Armour is ok but you could do better - the jacket has 1 or 2 strips of reflective material - not too reflective at night I wouldn't think. I wear wet gear over the top when needed so cannot comment on the waterproof-ness of it

Thanks lads.
Anybody got any more suggestions ? Would anyone pay a shed load more and go Goretex ??
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Col, all those look good. Last week i nearly bought leather RevIt, not cheap but seem to be brilliant quality. Reason no buy, just not my size in stock.  but think thats what ill get. Just a beautiful looking, feeling jacket. They have lots of model cord jackets also.

The RST Adventure 3 looks very similar to the Dririder Nordic 4, I have one for for over 10 years now and still wearing well, a couple of years ago I bought the Nordic 2 bit more sporty but I prefer the 4.

Can't go wrong with RST gear, value for money wise.

Friends of mine rob banks and bought Rukka Stuff $$$$, but very nice gear same as BMW GS suits.  :hat: :hat:

Ok, so latest is ...... RST rep has found me a 2XL Black/Yellow Paragon 5 jacket which is what l have been looking for.
The catch is, l have been looking for so long the 2XL might now need to be a 2.5XL+
We shall see, its on its way. Can return if it don't fit  :onya:

There is some very nice high end gear out there but the wholesalers seem to place just one order a year then sell out of the common sizes. The Richa jackets look very nice but no stock to fit this fat bastard.

Agree Col. Common sizes go quickly, annoys me a $500 in normal then fire sales at $150 in obscure size. Their buying price? Mate at BMW shop, nice jackets i wont name, $800. He had some left, told me if i can find a fit can sell me one for $200. Guess that was his buying price. $600 rip off i reckon.

Yes Grog the mark ups can seem a bit hungry.

I always go for Richa stuff as it fits a chunky bloke like me in the right places just fine. But I do find a lot of variation between textile and leather.
i have a Richa Scirocco textile jacket which a tad big, (5xl when i'm now probably down to 4xl), and have recently bought a Richa Monza, black and flourescent, but had to get a 56 uk size (5 to 6 xl), I guess leather is tailored different and doesn't have as much "give" in it but will probably wear in at some point.

This is me, 100 bucks  :clapping:
