Today at home just over 40 degrees with 99% humidity. Terrible day, guess thats hard for you Northerners to imagine. Phones, tablets etc overheat, just cut out. I cut out almost, just sweat sitting. Had to change 2 tyres on my ute, shirt soaked, just makes it hard work. Bike ride not even fun, lid full of sweat, gloves same. Promised 10 degrees cooler tomorrow, yee ha. Still 33 tonight at nearly 7pm.

Bugger that grog, can't even start to imagine that - 99% humidity must be dreadful. You guys are not having it easy at all.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

After humidity goes, every wall has to be wiped over with vinegar, kill mould. Ask me how long that takes. At least no snow shovelling, locks freezing. All the world has unique probs.

Sweaty

You are getting what we had here on Sat Grog. 46 degrees. The worst day I can remember. We had a 21st lunch on at 12.30 that day too. Very unpleasant.

Sounds like a good case for a K&N air filter.

Experiment this arvo. Air temp on 40. Rode home flogging the poor old girl. 6k revs as much as i could, even rode in lower gears than normal. Laser thermometer all over motor, hottest was 88 degrees. How do you ever get fan to come on?

Batkwaka

7pm and 37c, 22% humidity here in Perth.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Yeah, and the storm last night made this morning humid as all fu.... get out.
The initial attraction to motorcycling inflicts people for various reasons and at different stages in their lives. But once someone experiences the elation of riding a motorcycle there's no denying the nearly spiritual effect it has.

Try this again and when you stop at the end let the engine idle until the fan comes on. Shouldn't take long unless something is wrong with the fan

BTW what was the oil temp?

GSXKING

In 19 + years of ownership I don't think fan has ever come on  :whatever: :whatever:

Weather here is very much to my liking: Lots of rain last couple of weeks and more to come. Nature needs it after 2 years of drought. I think ground water levels will be replenished. I hope we will get a sunny and dry spring, summer, and fall  :riding: :riding: :riding:

Irish in Oz

The reason why I retired a couple of years ago in Oz was because of working in the heat. I contracted to a multi national for almost 30 years, their safety policy kept growing, wearing hard hats goggles gloves in the heat isn't nice. I'm enjoying the cool weather over here.

Kiwifruit

l hear you Irish, My son worked in Aussie for a while. Long sleeves, long pants with a big hi-viz hat. Said he cooked from the inside out.
She's warm here too.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎
