If as suggested, the police are using this as promo material aimed at bikers wearing full protective gear (air bag inserts etc.) they are missing the crucial point. That the car was being driven recklessley/dangerously and was totally out of control and on the wrong side of the road, therefore it would have potentially killed anyone, whether walking, cycling, jogging - whatever. I shudder to think that this individual could be just around the next bend......
