I'm running an Angel ST front & GT rear, works great & handles much nicer than it did on PR3s or PR4 GTs. Looks like I'll get 6-7k from the rear too, which is better than the 5k I was getting from PR4 GTs.

How the hell do you get 24000kms out of a rear tyre.
I think I'm doing well if I get 6000 miles out of mine. I thrash it hard on motorway and dual carriageway all the time commuting.
Tyre by the way is a Metzeler Roadtech Z6. I did try a Maxxis, but destroyed it in 1800 miles and it tried to kill me several times when it spun up under hard acceleration..
Makes my arse twitch when the rear end tries to overtake me

It blows me away too. I'm getting 9000 kms rear & 10,000 kms front. Its the edge's that are worn out first for me, as i don't commute & am trying to stay clear of major/straight roads when riding etc.

I feel like a freak in a circus. No idea why rear tyre keeps lasting. Just doesnt seem to wear out. Im no thrasher but not slow either. As said, front was stuffed at 19k, i usually replace as a pair, this time didnt. Doesnt slip, slide or do anything wrong. Got me stuffed.
