I met Johnny with Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings at a "HighwayMen" tour Brisbane circa 1992. All great men (Willie was stoned as MAN) Johnny was such a physically big man, (not like Joaquin Phoenix who did play a good part in "Walk the Line") and loved Australia. He visited a town called Warwick west of Brisbane quite a lot and could walk down the street without being bothered by anyone.

His music isn't great I admit that, however his lyrics are heartfelt and move the soul.

Unfortunately Keith Urban isn't appreciated as much here as he is elsewhere around the world.

Not just a country singer but an amazing all round talent - singer and guitarist.

I've been catching up on a bit of classic Marillion, well worth listening to many of their songs again, especially 'Easter'. An amazing piece of work with the usual brilliant Steve Rothery solo in the middle - 2 mins of pure magic. He's up there with Gilmour, Hackett etc etc as one of the best of all time in my opinion  .

mjgt, im a bit old, music been my thing since i can remember. Little kid searching for stations on his transistor, that was me when 8 yrs old. Never really been set on not listening to alternative options. Kids at work play stuff that im even starting to get used to/ like? So many bands i like, Spotify one of the best things ever happened. Gone from records to Cd, now just online stuff. Today, was asked to play a song i liked, amazing the young uns asked. They just have a tablet, choose your music. I was quite un believed they asked.
