Rear reservoir to M/cyl hose

Evening/morning all,
.                             The above hose was perished so I decided to replace it, ordered one which had to come ex Japan when it got here its about 15mm short, looks right ,has the right bend and diameter and is the right part number.

Just wondering if anyone has run into this dilemma , reservoir and master cyl look to be in their original positions ,I am a little confused unless Suzuki have changed their supplier and details have been lost? Will start the inquiry with the dealer Monday,
