Luckily you had plenty of fuses on board and finally made it home!

I don't have any suggestions on bar as I changed the lower, wider bar (LSL 01) it came with to the original. Like the more upright position (190 cm tall). No suggestion as to fairing either as I prefer naked and took the fairing off right away.

There are several different options for the smaller fairings.

If your a fan of the Wes Cooley / GS1000S style there's a slightly smaller one that a few members have used.

Will load some pics on the weekend.  The bike is in pieces right now..  yep, already.

I found that when I got home, put the bike in the garage and the next morning there were 2 pools of oil under the rear of the bike..  leaking rear shocks.

So I read through this forum and followed the instructions on how to fix this.  Took me 3.5 hours on each shock.  For some reason, I could only get about 6 drops of oil in each time and that was with a syringe and a needle on the end - trying to get out any air bubbles.

Anyway, I finally got there and will put the shocks back in over the weekend along with some other bits and pieces.  I'll load up some pics once I'm done.
