  Hi,
Can anyone tell me why someone has cable tied closed my fuel tank Breather hose.
Just noticed it today while doing some work on the bike, I thought that this would normally cause fuel starvation by vacuum effect.

Cheers

The tank breaths via the fuel cap .
The hose your on about is the overflow hose they sometimes collect condensate from the tank and should be emptied when you do a service to save anything going on the rear tyre while riding if you filled up to much.

Also be aware that there are 2 hoses going down. One is the for the tank-overflow and needs to stay open. The other is coming from the air box and needs to stay closed (only opened for service).

Need to check that's plugged cause since I've done away with the pairs it's running really rich.
Lefthand 4 into 2 pops away even with pairs removed, yoshi open cans on original headers I think.

Need to get a pc111 me thinks.
 Andre.

Does this mean that the gas fumes I´m smelling lately come from here ? And noticed that there´s a slight difference in the fuel cap height at the front (+- 2mm), on the hinge side it´s flush with the deposit.  The rubber seal seams in good condition though.

Andre

I got the same difference but everything seems to be fine.
