Hi Vlad. I don't seem to able to upload footage from a Go-Pro. File is an MP4. Keeps coming up with Server was reset.
Any tips please.

Generally, given the size of videos its best to upload them elsewhere first, like Youtube or Vimeo.
They dont have any size restrictions.
So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?

Kiwifruit

Yep I think file size is the problem. Like its 1.07 KB. I cannot see anywhere that I can resize it, like I can a photo.

You mean Gb?

No resizing videos isnt really possible in a practucal sense. Upload limit is 128mb here. In theory. Do you have a youtube channel.
I am in process of starting one for the firum...

Yes you are correct GB
Have no U-tube channel. Never done any of that stuff. Sorry thought I could kinda load it like photo.
Does U-tube re-size the file ?

You dont need to resize the file for youtube you just upload it to your account.. Then all you need to do is copy the link location to your video and it automatically shows up here.

If you have a google account, you can log in to youtube with that, if not, you can sign up here https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?continue=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.google.com%2Fyoutube%2Fanswer%2Fwww.youtube.com&hl=en

Have created a u-tube account got to upload video. After about an hour it had uploaded 8%. The video is only around 7 mins long.

I threw the toys out of the cot and just shut the page !!

im sat here crying... i know the frustration.. large size videos can take an age.. its all agout getting the file size down to a managable level when processing.. i.e. if you have a GoPro, then you have the GoPro studio software.. If your trying to upload video straught from the camera then your working with raw video footage.. You need to use the studio to process the video and save it in a smaller more magable file type/size... if you like i can put up a full guide to explain the steps but there are already a thousand of them on youtube..
