I've had that one before too, about 50% alcohol from memory, it catches ya out as it's so easy to get through.

They were wrong about 36 degrees. Now 38 on my verandah, too hot for a ride. Also inside in a/c, 4 o'clock is Landsborough Lager time, made right here by me👍

Another warm one here.

I went to do my 5k / 3.1 mile timed Park Run with the local group this morning. Got about 2/3rd of the way and started to struggle, more importantly my dog wasn't doing great, so we backed off and cruised the last bit. Slow time but for the best.

Last time I looked it was 36.5 degrees C here.

Careful ya don't run yourself into the ground Tony.

Pommeroy

After days of rain, and a run of further wet days from tomorrow, I rode this morning from Palmy to Mangaweka via the Manawatū Scenic Route. Had breakfast at a nice caff, then rode home via Vinegar Hill.
A morning of twisties, and having returned the bike to its stock suspension settings to get a baseline, it was less than enjoyable...have set it now to Kev's settings in the MCN article - I'm working from tomorrow until Thurs, so no testing before then.
Spent the arvo gardening (well, loading then unloading a trailer of soil, then checking my bees), followed by a cold one (Drop Bear alcohol free stout...can't tolerate alcohol following a big concussion 18 months ago).
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.

Kiwifruit

Good café Pommeroy, stopped there a couple of times this year. Love the Macrocapa timber smell there.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Hooli

Looks slightly moist there.

Andre

Should have stayed at work :imrgreen:

BTW, very nice pic of your face.

GSXKING

Thanks @Andre

The weather literally came out of nowhere.
I was on one side of our shed, warmed bike up, turned the corner and BAM. I hightailed it to the underpass and put my new Nelson Rigg two piece rain suit on which works very well. However the weather cleared quickly and it soon felt like riding in a sauna 🥵🥵🥵
Got home toweled off and sunk a few cold beers 🍻

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

GSXKING

Thanks @Notty coming from you I'll take that as a compliment 🙏🙏

Went to the monthly breakfast with our local Coffee and Cars Club. A few are into bikes but the majority bring cars and trucks. Really nice bunch, very open minded to any vehicle. A couple of us have Busa's, there everything from a Mini to a Ferrari, regular old Aussie and Yank cars etc.

Managed a pretty lazy 220km shakedown run for the 1400 with the wife on her Scrambler. The return leg was a little more spirited after nothing fell off on the way there.

I almost went there for breakfast yesterday.
It's a regular spot for me.
