Ride photo challenge. Fun and an excuse to get out and about.

Each week or two, a Challenge will be issued through this thread.
Your mission is to go for a ride, find whatever is being asked for, and take a picture of your bike with it. 

Each challenge will run for a week, and members are encouraged to like the photo/s they think best illustrate the theme.

Post a pic as soon as you have one, don't wait until the end of the week.
Post as many times as you like.


The Rules:

1. Must be new photos. It's all about getting out for a ride. So in that spirit, don't use old photos you have stashed away. 

2. No photo shop. (image must be straight from camera or phone). The technical quality of the photo is entirely unimportant.

3. Probably best not to include photos of you doing anything illegal. Or at least not actionable  

4. If a challenge is not met by anyone within a week, a new challenge will be set.


Yes, I recognise that there are periods when you in the UK cannot go riding, so occasionally a 'garage based' topic will be chosen during the northern winter.  The rest of the time you can live vicariously through us down here. 

Of course, the more participants in these challenges the more fun it will be.

Challenge #1      Christmas

Get a picture of your bike with anything epitomising Christmas.

Maybe a Christmas tree, lights, during a Christmas lunch or celebration.  It's up to you, be as creative (or as literal) as you like.


This challenge will run until 31 December.

I went out yesterday, -1, ice in the shaded areas and I still can't feel my fingers. It was great!

Challenge #2  Military monument

The new challenge is to photograph your bike with a military monument of some kind.

Please keep in mind that it's important to be respectful.

Can be anything from a local War memorial, or a gun outside an RSL or a tank at a museum or.,.. well, whatever.
Don't forget that the military includes naval and air forces as well as army.
