Bolts missing from the brakes, axle nut near to falling off.
This topic may bring to light another question needing to be asked of the seller.

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

When I first picked up my 14 from a reputable Brisbane dealer 3 years ago, I did the standard lets see how fast this thing goes, I was a little alarmed a few days later to find one of the rear shocks about to fall off - someone,  I assume the dealer had removed a rear luggage rack which was stopping the shock from falling off, the dealer gave me the proper shock absorber washers to return the bike back to a roadworthy state.

I'd say it is worth a good look over although you are probably all over that one now.

I am hoping that now completes the nut and bolt check

1 of the 2 handle bar mounts was loose, bar have been replaced sometime with Renthal 758's
Rear indicator plastic spacers x 2 were used as one of the rear tank mounts..... why?
Rear pillion hand grip hand non genuine bolts fitted, must have had some sort of luggage fitted then removed

The local Suzuki now has a list of fasteners, spacers etc etc

Tomorrow's another day  :clapping:

It's kinda funny you mentioned the headlight, you actually hit the nail right on the head

This afternoon I removed the headlight lens (seems to be a little distorted even though the bulb is 60/55w???) and you wouldn't believe it, the case mounting bolts were finger tight
All I wanted to do was wire in a handlebar mounted USB outlet .....

I need to sort all this out before the run down to Wauchope NSW

Geez!  That's staggering to think someone would sell a bike in that sort of condition.  Pleased no harm was done to you & only minor to the bike.  Very good idea to go over everything.  You'll be riding home 1 night & the bloody light could fall off, best ya check everything - then you can have confidence in it again.
Just aw well u checked it all out

Rick C, wonder if same reputable brisbane dealer that had left my bolts loose. Southern end of town, something to do with springs n wood. long time ago, ancient history now.

No, my bike was a private sale

But I am heading to the above mentioned dealer today for some product research....
