I'd say those chain and sprockets have done roughly twice the mileage I would expect. Whether its the issue or not, then they DEFINITELY need changing (and I'd guess that that's the issue as well)
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Andre

Two blokes riding it "feel" it's the chain and the chain/sprockets have 50k. New ones are certainly indicated.

If that doesn't fix it do what is suggested below.

I had a very similar experience and changed the plugs, coils, air filter, swapped air sensors IAP and IT, checked and cleaned all other FI sensors, removed checked and cleaned all vacuum lines, stripped cleaned and wired up the fuel pump then ran several doses of injector cleaner through.  Last thing I did was to replace the IAP with a spare I got from Andre and bike now runs perfectly.  It seems to affect K7 bikes and can be very difficult/frustrating to track down, good luck.

That'd make sense as these bikes only use the Manifold Absolute Pressure readings at low throttle opens/low revs. Swap it with the pressure sensor on the RH side of the airbox & see if things change, they are the same part doing different jobs.

It does sound like balancing the throttles & then setting the TPS & SPS would help though.

the chain could have quite a few tight spots in it which will course a lot of vibration and make the bike feel rough as hell .
i intend to live for ever or die trying !!

Changed my chain and sprockets at 55,000 kms. Different bike !!
Hope thats your problem.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Have a read of THIS - sounds a bit like the symptoms I had

ringfeder3

Well, i had the chain and sprockets replaced and 'hey presto', problem solved...

Thanks to all who replied. I did learn something and now the bike is running well, can enjoy it to it's full potential...

Sweaty

Good to hear & it sure does make a big difference.

Worn out chain and sprockets will make a huge difference to the ride. It's not something that you would immediately think of with the given symptoms though.
It always pays to go for the simple stuff first before ripping the bike apart and changing bits.

Glad you got it sorted :onya:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!
