Two extra bikes is too many for you to handle mate.  I'll look after the Diavel for him....

Diavel gets delivered 6am tomorrow. Today mate brought his Thruxton around. got a sit but not a ride. Seat is too skinny, footpegs too small. riding position perfect, thought bars woulod be too low, not at all. Spoilt at moment. Has promised me a ride, cant wait. I reckon my old girl held her head up, looked good next to Thuxton.

Is that you and your wifey in the first photo Grog?

grog

No mate, im the photographer, yeah my wife JA, no idea how she puts up with me, simply the best woman ever made, bloke with her in same category. just a best mate for 40 yrs. luck if you can find people like that. they seem to like me so i cant be as bad as i think i am. life can be good.

@grog, you'll love riding the Thruxton, nicely balanced, beautiful to ride, beautiful sound and go around like they are on rails. Maybe I'm biased having a Trumpet myself, but having ridden my mates Thruxton, if I didn't want to do touring that would definitely be the bike I'd have.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Is that the 1200 Dave?  I've ridden the 900 & it's a bit down on power for my liking.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Yes the 1200. I'd agree the 900 could do with some more oomph

I know that road well. I used to go up for the Cooktown festival every year to enter the billycart race.
I won it in 1999 and 2002.
Just sayin'
