I only used to live quite near the sea and it took it's toll on the bikes .
Couldn't think of an easier way to ruin one than riding in the sea .
:frustrated:
only a slightly modified gsx1400

To be fair, Ernie Vigil is a stunt rider and I guess he has broken a few bikes during his career. I don't know the story behind this video but at a guess Triumph or somebody was paying him to do some moody publicity shots on the beach. Occupational hazard I guess.

When i used to race enduro and hare & hounds i did the beach race one year ( 6 hours of hell ) when i got home i stripped the bike to nut and bolts then cleaned and rebuilt it, but for the next year there was allways something wrong with it or falling off or seezing up ..... the first and last time i ever ride a bike on the beach  !
i intend to live for ever or die trying !!

Maybe paid by Triumph, Maybe a big publicity stunt. Not caring, just a waste of bike. Very nice bike.
