Ooops, missed this thread somehow!!

My first 'bike' was a 50s-something Brockhouse corgi, like the one I did a resto on, I paid a fiver for it from a neighbor, & I used to go to & from work in 1962, I must has looked a right dipstick, but it was my ticket to the world!!
I DO have to grow old, I DO NOT have to grow up.

One thing I'm noticing & remembering is the "Mo's"  Was just the 'fashion' back then, but looking back now, cringe.
I remember 30 or more years ago, had a wedding pic on the wall, had always been there since the kids were born, one day my young daughter, prob 3 or 4 at the time, said who's in that picture with mummy?  :confused1:  Had a handle bar mo in the pic but not when she was born , thought I'd still be recognisable to my own daughter though!
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Don't worry about it Col, I see pics of people in the 70's and some laugh at the clothes ETC but I don't have a problem with them, they looked good at the time.  What about kids today wearing pants that look like they've been shit in, lads wearing ear rings and makeup, fat birds wearing clothes two sizes too small.  What will they think in 30 years time
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

All true. In 70s had hair way down my back. Cant understand why i had long hair and rode, so much wasted time brushing out knots. Todays brushes slightly different, teeth, paint, clean wheels, not needed for no hair.
