My back tyre after coming home from Belgium it's now done 9000 miles
Still feeling very planted and surefooted.

Excellent Seth!  Looks like it's got a few mile left on it yet  :onya:

Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

@ARH
I hope so as they need to do a few miles yet this year.
I got 12000 out of the last set
And you'll see we do big miles loaded up and motorways when needed so the tyres don't get an easy time .

Welcome back Seth..
That's good to hear about your tyres.. As you know I get a set fitted on Wednesday afternoon due to your high recommendations..
Might take my wheels in loose.. Not cos I'm tight (but I am !!) but cos I don't want some gorilla to chip my newly painted front forks..

ARH

Speedy... only got 750 miles on my gt's but well impressed!

Speedy1959

Thats brilliant..
I only got 525 on my Michelin PR4's
So at least we are heading in the right direction.

KiwiCol

That looks in remarkable condition for 9000 miles. Well cared for.  What pressure do you run when loaded up?
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Sorry bud... realised I confused you... I meant I've only had them on for 750 miles...

That's amazing for 9k. Anything I've ever run would have worn though & popped by then.

It's why I keep going for the Pirelli gt's they are a good tyre  wet or dry very stable and last for ages I used to get 6000 miles from a pair of Angel st's
So are worth the extra ££

My rear Angel just clocked 19000ks/11800 miles. Unreal tyres. 36psi fr/38 rear. Front wore off on rhs, replaced at 17000. Dirty old tyre pic, just picked up grass mowing remnants. Reckon another 3th ks left. PR3 previous did 14000ks. Bridgestone prior to that, front was stuffed less than 5 th ks.

My Michelin "PR4" after 7,300 miles...
Not bad wear in that mileage to be fair..
But they do get more sensitive to road imperfections as they wear..

KiwiCol

I can't believe how much you guys get out of a tyre. I had PR4's n they were dead at about 15000k, or close to 10,000 mile.  Maybe I need the heavier build casing?  It'll be the extra weight of my wallet (NOT) adding to the shorter demise of the said unit.   Couldn't be the pies n beer, that's health food.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎
