I'm not getting this sale, pics put up with current day's paper look really good, another buyer turns down the bike, mind you £5600 was strong money, I'd like pics by an 3rd party with nothing to gain

There's a perception sellers just have to list whatever on eBay. And buyers will fall over themselves to pay whatever figure they dream up.

I was looking at a bike on Facebook. Owner made an honest request as to its value. 2.5K was the consensus. Then on comes Mr Greedy. Chuck it on eBay. I'll bid on it for you at 4K to get it rolling. Needless to say - I stopped reading thread.

theres always the buy it for a £10'er and con someone in to paying £100 for it ..... bloody greedy b*****ds , i dont begrudge anybody a profit ! .... it makes the world go round but there's allways one
