Your the man @Del
I have a friend who could machine them as a last resort to try and repair but nothing is better than someone with experience.

Arrrgh don't mention that with T140s!

When I first got mine it kept eating oil pumps & turned out to 1/2" of grit in the oil tank.

Yup mine was a basket case but unbeknown to me, the frame had been powder coated by a PO...a couple of hundred miles later = total rebuild, pump, oprv, cams, followers, ends, mains, +60 rebore, complete clutch, valves & guides. Even though I pressure cleaned the frame I put a "Charlies" filter in just to be safe after that lot

Bit late I know, just an update.
Del worked his magic on the calipers  :onya: many thanks Del you're a star!

I can now say after fitting the 6 pots back on that have been refurbished, and comparing them to the 4 pots I was using, the 4 pots do have more bite to them, Don't get me wrong, the 6's work very well, but...
(It's been good to be able to compare both, as they have both been refurbished, perhaps I'll find a way to use both and have some 10 pots  :happy1:)

Anyway the old chap has now gone in to hibernation so won't come out again for a while...don't know about the bike though... :rofl2:

T250, thanks for input. im sticking with 6 pots but after using bike lately with brembo monos, the difference is just amazing. they just stop at will. have to re asses when getting back on 14, no complaints just a different level of stopping, very different level.
