That's a good price too, I'd be tempted if it was this side of the world.   May have a look n see what avail in that style here, just for kicks.

Yep, found them, same sort of price too.  Now, question is, do I need a third multimeter?

Like golf clubs Col, cant have too many. My old Fluke 75 has survived many others. Must be nearly 40 yrs old. I bought a test light last year with volt readout, find that handy, dirty connections etc. Might be an option for you.

Yeah, that is a good thing to have Grog, think I'll go look for one of those.   :onya:

Grumpy did you get it at the Matamata Farmers Market yesterday ??
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Batkwaka

Two Tank Bags, one for the K1600 in preparation for October costing $450 and one for the GSX1400 being used as an instructors bike costing $35.
The BMW one I'm confident in the quality of, the other is allegedly a Givi waterproof bag off the Wish site, we'll see how accurate that is.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

No Idrove the car down to Wellington in the early hours of Friday and the good lady came with me and drove the car home and I rode the bike home nice little 1100 km round trip

Left home at 03.00 and got home at 17.30 which included an hour for lunch on the way back and 45 mins at the dealers in Wellington and a couple of coffee breaks both ways

Had good weather both ways with no rain at all just a bit of fog on the desert road

It is such a great mile muncher and best of all no BLOODY CHAIN to frig about with and soo much torque to play with

I will get some pics up when I can get to it shed has the Missus car in the way at the moment

I have a 2017 R1200r and the engine certainly has plenty of grunt and it only sips fuel.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Hooli

Yesterday I bought a lubetube for the scottoiler I've put on the Strumpet. Bloody thing doesn't work.. It's been in the box so long that the sides are stuck together & the oil won't go into it. I've put as much in as I can & left it hung up hoping the weight of oil will slowly peal the sides apart, if it I'll have to think of something else.

Soak it in hot water

I've sorted it, the weight of the oil in a hot garage got it started slightly. Then 10mins of pinching it & pealing the sides off each other did the job. It's full & fitted now, I suspect it'll be a mucky job to fill though as there isn't much pipe to the actual Scottoiler to lift up as needed.

Note to self - filled at 32,500miles (approx), lets see how long it lasts. Considering they say 5-600miles from the basic one & I always get 1,000 or slightly over & this tube says 3,000miles. I suspect it'll go to near 5k before it's empty, if it makes 6k that'd be nice as it'd last as long as the engine oil.
