I thought there was a familiar name and avatar on the R1200R forum. Not joined yet, but will  :computer_type:

It's a 2015 model with 7K miles. Full BMW history, though hasn't been ridden for a year or so. Dealer delivering next week.

First trip planned is probably West Bay or Cheddar Gorge

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Ah.....so good to see some fellow BMW owners on this site  :onya: :clapping: :whistling:

Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Grumpy old man

Bloody bikes   bought all the new oil ,filters ,sparkplugs tires when I got the bike fitted it all new muffler after buggering the skin on the last Yoshi whilst taking it apart to repack it finally get it all sorted and all clean and shiny go for a ride and Dammit she blows a fork seal Ungrateful @#%#@&*

So today it was time to splash the cash with an All Balls bush kit for the forks along with a new set of oil and dust seals and 2 ltrs of Motul 5w fork oil

That should keep me amused for tomorrow at least

Had to get SKF green seals

Suzuki NZ only had oil seals no dust seals in stock and no stock of after market seals to be had locally  at least that I could find after spending an hour ringing round

Roo

Hard landing from a good wheelie ????     :smitten:  :boogie:  :rofl2:

Hooli

It's the oil seals that need to be genuine so you'll be fine, the genuine ones havetwo/ three lips to seal & a lot of aftermarket ones one have one. Dust seals are a simple design so don't matter.

I go up cheddar quite a lot but I was checking the rules yesterday and there is still no travel away from home until April.  All my bikes are on a sorn at the moment but April will see a change.  Might see you around.
The R1200r forum is useful but their sense of humour is not as good as it is here and as it covers all 1200's and now the 1250 not all of it is relevant.

Today i got a new house Air Con $3000, Some stair stringers and timber for $1000.Doesnt look like value but thats the price. Electrician fixed lots at mates price. Bloody house renos. Would rather spend on Akra for sale on here, Mrs just doesnt see it that way. Only another few boxes to tick on house, then bike stuff. Happy Wife, Happy Life.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Today i bought Ryobi drill kit. reduced from 179 to 99.

I put a deposit down on a retirement plan for my 14, once this turns up next week & is taxed for April I'll retire my 14 to be a toy. The ugly Givi shite can come off & I'll clean it up a bit.

The new toy is a 2014 Triumph Sprint GT, with just 28k miles on. I'll soon cure that  It's the first bike I bought since the Pan in 2012, so I try to get something that will last when I do buy something.

Nice Hooli, but when do you buy the rest of the bike? Only half a swing arm on this one?  :stir: :whistling:
